Long Time-Shut Down

If I try to go on GTPlanet app (iPod) for a long time normally around 20-30 minutes, it will then shut down on me and then the time before it shuts down gets shorter each time to a min of about 3 minutes. Hope it is not just my IPod.......

IPod Touch 4.3 (Haven't downloaded new update may be the source??) Downloaded latest version of GTPlanet.

The app crashed on me a few times last week but no problems since the update we just got recently. I run it on an iphone but wouldn't think it would make a difference. There is also a new IOS update that has something to do with the cache. Possibly that helped too but not certain.
