Ok, these vids I am making are supposed to be all about linking awesome drifts together, but I cant seem to find any more than 2 really long sequences of drifts, the first being the first 7 turns on AH, and the 2nd being the first 7 turns on SSR5 (I can almost get 8 and 9 in there, but the dang wall keeps gettin me, lol). I also did the long link on Tokyo in my 352hp Mugen S2K, but I need more, so post up, with pictures showing the turns if you can. I really wanna make this vid good, so I really appreciate your help.

try the turns in CS all the ones possible to link im not sure how many there are and i dont have a pic but just try the CS and link alot of turns

no, I am talking about the longest series of turns in GT3 that can be linked without having to gain traction.

I think you need to rethink that, because if swaying is included, then you can drift an entire course without regaining traction. Here are some of the courses I have done:

Laguna Seca
Seattle
Apricot Hill
Midfield ;)

TM, starting from the big sweeper after the long straight that starts with the tunnel. With a car 400+ hp you should be able to smoothly link from the sweeper all the way to the main straight after some practice.

LS has a lot of good spots, silviadrifter is right about that one, it's likely one of my favorite places.

GVS, you can try to link drifts starting from the tunnel after the bridge, and follow through all the way to the end of the really small, tight hairpin that's preceeded by another slightly larger hairpin. If you use a 1000+ hp Supra you could more easily get fancy and take it all the way to the main straight also.

I think those are my favorites, I'll play around some more and see if I think of any other good ones.

Complex String: The long sweepers can all be drifted if you run the course in reverse, all but the last if you run forward (might be possible with AWD). The box corners are pretty cool too and have that D1 feel to them, possibly my favorite corners in the game.

Trial Mountain II: From the first corner to the U-turn before the tunnel can be linked, and from first tunnel exit to second tunnel exit can all be linked.

Deep Forest: Same as TM2, basically the whole course, forward or reverse. This is also my favorite track for one-lane drifting.

SSR11: Not sure which corner number but about half-way through there is a nice double-apex into a 3rd gear hairpin, followed by a short straightaway. After that straight, you can link a hairpin, double apex, and then another hairpin together. That one's pretty cool.

woops..here

It is possible with the Skylines :D I can back it up when I release my video :)

I tried to link drift in Deep Forest II, but it was unsuccessful. I took the wrong line at one of the turns and would have ended up in the wall, so I had to straighten my car. Its the last drift clip in my video with the white Rx-7. It looks really hard to do, but I think its possible.

LOL, thnx for clearing that up. ;)

I have to agree with Perg about the box turns on Complex String. I have some great clips of me linking the box turns in my S14 (stock power), I will also agree about the SSR11 corners. It takes some time to get good at them, but they are a blast when you get the speed, gear, and line figured out for each corner. I would also like to add on Rome Circuit, it's only 3 links, but it's a lot of fun, because the first drift has to be so drawn out, to connect to the second drift, which has to be drawn out even more, too conect with the last drift. Here is a diagram to detail what I am trying to explain:

Nope, it's only 3 apex's. Count em', I have to switch direction only twice, so it's 3 links. ;)

yahm I've done that one on rome circuit. This vid is almost done, so I am going to use alot of these in the rest of the series. Thanks guys.

Now I'm scared that you might take some of my ideas ... :nervous:

This about sums up my 10 days of owning a wheel (which is getting exchanged tomorrow cuz the shifter is already screwed).

Nah, I was just kidding. Forgot to add that ;)

Trial Mountain: Between the first and third tunnels, going forward or backwards.

[EDIT]I accidentaly typed: between the 2 tunnels[/EDIT]

Deep Forest going i think normal way. after you do the u turn after the start line anf ater the hill try connecting those until the long straight up the hill. i could once do that in a ae86 and a 240sx hatchback. just my 2 cents not needed if u dont want it.
