So............... I have searched and I have gone on the open lobby and I just dont feel comfy jumping in on races with young guns or wise asses that I dont know.

I want a late 30's early 40's crowd preferably on the east coast (US) that just want to race and have fun. I have a headset but dont even know if it works cause I've not tried it out yet. I drive clean but I also may smash into you if I brake too late and a sorry will certainly follow my dumbass nailing you unintentionally.

Anyway, looking for feedback and headcount on interested parties or if someone wants to lead the process of the lounge/room stuff and give me a headset test then I can take it from there. Or if there is already a club out there for me that I have not found through a search then let me know and I'll see you most weeknights at 10 pm east coast time.

sned PSN and I'll add you and i'll try to open a lounge tonight called........................"rufus racing club"

????lets see what comes out of this??????

Ill race with you. I hope to be on around that time tonight. Maybe a little later. My psn is same as name here : Ronin90q20v

There are mature groups around here. Doing clean racing of a variety of types of cars/races.
But people tend to flock together more dependent upon their racing interests & schedule, more than age & time zone.

But I do notice that a lot of people I race with the most tend to be in the ballpark of my age group. :)

Chances are if you get involved in the groups that strike your interest, suiting your schedule, based on their posts & giving them a try... You will wind up racing with compatible people... likely many of whom are in your age group.

But this forum has a lot of people who just don't have the patience for hit & miss in the pub lobbies. Some teenagers, some over 50.
I can think of 2 races last year, organized on this forum, where I know for a fact there was a gap of 30 years between the oldest & youngest racers. Clean, well-organized, fun races. :)

You may want to give LZRacing a try. We race at 10 pm EST, and we are all "mature" racers..(old).

Given the overall tone of your OP, I think you would fit right in.

Check us out at LZRacing.com

How about us 70 something guys or should we be kept medicated in the old age home.

If that's what the 70-something wants. :sly:
Come to think of it... that probably sounds good to some 40-somethings.

Vintage racers, are of course, welcome in our Vintage Car Race Club. ;)

Sorry, I know this post is old. But I'm 16 (17 next month ) & hate my generation.. I'm not some little kid. I may be decently young but I think I'm decently mature. I'd like to cruise with you guys as long as its okay with you guys. I have a mic but it's busted. It just randomly acts up. I plan in getting a new one soon, thanks & have a good one!

Check out www.ReadyOrNotRacing.com. Our facebook page is the main place. We are a clean group that races around the time you are looking for and the age group you are looking for. Send a friend request to ReadyOrNotRacing to join in. We race in that lounge. Good group of people that have been racing together for about a year now. You are welcome any time.
