Looking for a paint color source

I found in my paint chip collection a very nice silver called Silver Mica Metallic but for the life of me I can't find a car in garage with it so I think it was a gift for a race win.
Does anyone know if this paint is avabile from a dealer anyplace? Ive been trought about 500 cars with no luck, nissian, ford, lotus, honda, chevy, acura, cadillibuick, buick, , chrysler, egale, fiskar, GTG, Dodge, AM, AEM, SRT, Tesla, Shelby, Pontiac, PMS, Saleen, Plymouth, etc
uggggg anyone know? or is this you gotta win it color's
 
Did you try the Subaru's ? They tend to use the "mica" in there color blends......could be wrong but worth a shot.
 
Mica tells me it's probably Japanese, like Subaru, but I can be wrong.
Im not sure, but try the GT5 forum and search for color database, you might find something...

Great Idea on the subbi's but alas nothing, got a great close match, Spark Silver metallic, and got my RL car while i was at it, 07 imprezzra WRX hatch :) STI verision anyways. i want the sti verision but can't quite swing the price tag IRL. lol
 
In GT5, Toyota was the only manufacturer with a chip named "Silver Mica Metallic".. Try searching cars ordered from newer to older. Don't ask me why or how I might know about it :P
 
I just searched the GT5 color database, and quatschkopp is right.....Toyota is the source... MR2,Caldina, Corolla....all '02 models.......
 
I'm assuming that they're chips you win only & not in a dealer.
I assume this based on I haven't noticed any color I've won available in dealer. Also that my friends online seem to get different colors then me in some cases. I've also noticed some of us seem to get more colors as a prize in some cases.. I've been awarded 3 colors for 1st in a seasonal and my friend only 1 in the same seasonal.

Only chrome, most matte, and most color shift paints are only obtainable from seasonal events. But you may get Matte from the SLS, Aventador, and LFA. You can get color shifts from TVRs. There's a thread somewhere with a large list of all the cool paint chips.
 
I'm on a racing team and we are looking for a silver that is obtainable from a dealer so any new recruits can get it easily.

I'm pretty sure the chips you win while in paint shop have an indicator with the chip number

Im pretty sure Lambo and Nissan also have a matte. And Toyota has color shift as well on the concept if I remember correctly.
