They skyrocketed when the V2 came out. Although you can still get a pretty decent one for under 20k.

But without looking too hard you could find one waiting to be restored I'd think, might be a nice little investment too...

1998 Mazda 323 Astina

I paid $8,500 for it. It has… 1.8l 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual, power steering, power windows, electronic mirrors, air con, 6 stacker CD player, remote central locking, and probably more that I have forgotten. :D

I only got it about 4 or 5 hours ago, and already it’s been in a thunderstorm (so of course my drivers side carpets are already dirty :(). So I decided to take some photos of it drying in the sun.

Very happy with it so far. My only problem is that visibility is a little difficult, but it’s not a big problem with the mirrors properly adjusted. Can’t wait for a nice day to push it a bit.

They look really good with blacked out tail-lights too.
