Looking for Chameleon Purple paint

I don't think this is a Marketplace thing, because I'm not sure it's even possible to get this color. Of all the color-shift paints, it's the only one that's unique to the Toyota FT-86 Concept, I think. I know that the FT-86 doesn't give up Mat Black paint chips, so I don't imagine that it gives them up for Chameleon Purple either, but I haven't managed to win one.

Several of the Chameleon colors are also on other cars. If those of you that care can check your paint list, filter by "color shift" and tell me if you have Chameleon Purple or anything not on THIS list, I'd appreciate it.

I know you can get Reflex Purple and other color shift paints from the TVR in the New Dealership... Not sure if that helps or not.

The TVR Chamaleon purple it can be used, but when I got my FT-86 From the FR event it came with the chamaleon color and I did't get the color chip :grumpy:

I bought two FT-86's for their paint, the green flip and the bronze/gold flip and I got paint chips for both..

However, I bought a Vauxhall Tigra for it's paint chip (green metallic) but didn't get a paint chip for that..??

It seems to be inconsistent..

Pretty sure I have a few Mazioras sitting in my stockpile which only could have come from them.

No, the second FT-86 is the G-sports Concept '10 and it offers up Maziora colors when bought and traded. The original FT-86 Concept '09 can also be bought, but never seems to give up paint chips. That one seems to be the dud. I'm curious if anyone has gotten Chameleon Purple from elsewhere, including the random paint gift.

I did read, and there are many people trading paints and horns (never seen museum cards) over there.
I didn't mean to be cocky, just helpful :)

I could send it to you if want, see if it passes the chip to you.

If you could, just check your chip collection. You can sort by color shift and see if you ever got it. I'd hate to cost you a trade, seeing as our 24-hour cap is so damn valuable nowadays...

No problem, we all make mistakes.

As to the trading thing.
You can trade 1 car a day, and 5 paint chips a day.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure I used the paint chip on another car as I no longer have it. Plus I don't do much trading anyway, it's up to the receiver if he's got trading time/slot open.
 
Still can't find anyone that can confirm Chameleon Purple exists as a tradable color. Can anyone else chime in and help?
 
I'll check now. I'll back my game save up, then buy the car and see if it gives me the paint chip

Update: It does NOT give out the Chameleon Purple paint chip. Sorry. A good substitute is Reflex Purple from TVR.
 
I bought 3 TVR's from the UCD for their paint...haven't used them, but I'm getting a small stockpile lol...oh and a small stockpile of cars haha
