Hey guys, first I want to apologize in advance for the 200 errors I probably made by posting this in the wrong section, etc. But anyways, I am quite new to gt5, and I was just looking for a good group of friends on PSN that could help me out starting the game. Just anyone that is usually on, knows a lot about gt5, and doesn't mind lending a couple a cars and some time to race against a newcomer. Any response is greatly appreciated, thanks!
Notes: I am from the us, I am 16 and I don't know much about cars, but I am very interested in them.

Check out all the turtle racing leagues!! The enduro series of turtle town has dvisions based on skill level. I highly recommend checking out turtle town. I probably would say that its the best learning experience to becoming a faster and better driver hope to see u there

The ORDL accept members regardless of level of experience, we are UK time based but check out our range of events. Pm me if you are interested.

Thanks for the reply 👍 - what kind of cars are usually used in the enduro series? I can't do the
f1 series yet because I'm poor lol

Basically all the cars, like this week is the Lamborghini gallorado. I believe its a cheap car but I'm not sure I can always send you that car if you would like

I will have to look, but I think I can afford it. Another problem that I noticed it the 10pm time of the race. I would probably have trouble getting my parents to let me play for that long that late, especially if I had a sports game to play in the next day, but I will definitely try. Thanks again for the advice and the car offer is greatly appreciated! Ill add you on psn as soon as I can! 👍

loyxx - I could be wrong but you might want to ask at CRAP what time they race... I think it's early evening to someone on the U.S. East coast.
If I remember correctly, I think the races are scheduled right at my dinner time - 6pm maybe.

I think also what kris8583 mentioned above - the ORDL runs in that same general time - early evening US Eastern.

Here's the world clock:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
and the time zones that people post are usually:
UTC = GMT (it's london time but with no daylight savings - it's always the same)
BST = London (they're in daylight savings now just like us)
Right now:
New York time is 5 hours earlier than whatever time it is in London.
So if it's 10pm in the UK, it's 5pm on the U.S. East Coast.

Hope that helps.

I know how it can be trying to find suitable racing when you're available to actually race. :( Lots of stuff runs a little later than I'm usually up... or right at dinner time. :grumpy:
(And my dinner time is rather long - because I'm the one making it lol - and it's set by my husband's work schedule, and therefore non-adjustable.)
