I am in process of buying a new house and for next week or two I am staying at my parents until the new house is ready where I will probably build a ricmotech rig most likely.

but for right now I am looking for a materials list and plans on a simple stand to build that I can get by with right now. I currently have my g27 on tv trays :-(

I know there are threads and I have searched and seen many builds but I haven't found any with materials list and plans, although I am still searching.

any help? thanks.

Some more detail might help. Will it be stand alone or say, incorporating an existing couch chair? Are there any pre-defined restrictions?

The first thing I did when I got my first wheel was grab a free old coffee table of the right size and screwed an elongated piece of thick mdf to it. The "foot" of the mdf was sandwiched between the floor and the couch, pedals secured with velcro, wheel hard mounted to the table. Worked very well. Since you are going for a temporary solution, that kind of thing might work for you.

I saw the first one which is what I would really want to do, but the measurements are in mm. So I would have to convert to inches. (yay...) Far as the 3d model ones, it's just a model no actual dimensions etc that I can see.

What ever is reasonably cheap and will last for a couple of weeks that I can build out of pvc or wood and that I could build quickly.

thanks for help guys

Internet is full of converters. You can just take 5 minutes of your time and write down all the dimensions in whatever units you like. About the models, download SketchUp (free), open the model you like and with tape measure tool you can get every dimension you like.

At the end dimensions are very subjective. It isn't hard to make up your own design.
