Well this summer I will be looking for some wheels for my car. A 92 Honda Prelude Si that is light silver. (I'll take some pictures tommorow.) I'm not looking for anything ricy or blingy. Something strong, light, and good looking. So far I have my mind set on Rota Slipstreams. Either the Sports Bronze or the Bronze color seem to appeal to me the best. Colors and a picture of what the wheel looks like is here.

If anyone else has any suggestions, post up.

For now, here's a picture of a black Prelude with some Bronze Slipstream 16's. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/473583

Requirments:
16" Rim
7" Wide
4 X 114.3 Bolt Pattern
No more than $700 for wheels alone.

Rota C10's, which are copies of the Mugen MF10s

Everyone has different opinions, but for the price, you can't beat Rota. Yeah, they're biters, and they copy all the popular wheels, but who cares? I'd rather curb a set of 500$ wheels instead of 2000+ Mugens...

Rota seem's to be a good quality low priced rim, according to many people. Those rims there aren't really my style though. For my car anyways. :indiff:

*EDIT*
Something along the lines of the Slipstreams and these, the Rota Attack.

I had been looking at those last one's the Motegi FF6's. I don't know why, but I'm starting to like the bronze more than the gunmetal. I think a bronze would look awesome with a light silver. I guess I should have added that I don't want anything over $700 total for rims and no sizes bigger than 17", ideal size being a 16".

 black rims and bronze... I started to like ALOT! :D:tup:

edit: tell me when I start to get redundant... I'm growing my own list for rims I may want to get now that you got me into it :D:tup:

edit again: that about does it for me...

Personally I think the R34 GT-R's wheels are great. They seam to maximize strength and weight, and I love the look of them. Unfortunately you're not going to get them by any means easy.

Go ahead VipFREAK, post all the rims you want.

I edited my first post to show what the wheels have to be.

PublicSecrecy, do you mean, the Volk TE37's? For over $1500 at least, I think I'll pass. ;)

I think he means these?

Check these Buddy Club rims out.

http://www.buddyclub.us/buddyclub/top_m.html (Buddy Club rims for US market) go to product.

My brother got a set of P1 Racing wheels (unavailable in US) for his Skyline and he was really happy with them. All Buddy Club rims are lightweight and designed for track use so you should get an increase in acceleration. I dont know how much they are in the U.S but in Australia a set of 17's will cost around $2500 with 18's being $4500. It's a good thing that your not looking for heavy assed chromes...

Whatever you do, for god's sake, don't get the Slipstreams. They're by FAR the most common rims in the Honda tuning world.

I suggest you check out takumiproject.com. Tons of used JDM rims, at great prices, and they'll be much better rims for the money.

I'm thinking a set of Mesh rims would be kinda hot on that thing.
