Hello.
I'm looking to buy Fanatec 911 GT3 RS racing wheel CS edition with H shifter and I have a few questions.

- How well does the wheel work with Gran Turismo 5?

- I don't have a PC - will I be able to use the wheel (since I've heard something about needing to update firmware)?

- How does the FFB of 911 GT3 RS compare to that of G27 and how does the wheel compare to it?

- How good is the H shifter (how strong, tactile, accurate)? In my oppinion it looks fragile...I don't want a shifter to break (noone does ).

- Just how (much) good are the ClubSport pedals and is the clutch hard enough?

- Regarding the CSP - do I need the tuning kit? Are the pedals hard enough (I want hard clutch because I'm used to that on my car in real life)?

- And, the final question - how can I contact Fanatec? I'm from Serbia (Europe) and my country isn't supported by Fanatec's official web-store...and I want the wheel so badly...

- Oh, and one more question - do you get the hard-mounting screws within the package or do you have to buy them from store?

Cheers.
Jevrem

FFB is pretty similar
The shifter isn't fragile
The clubsports are great... best pedals on the market
U can alter the stiffness of the clutch pedal to a very high strength
not sure about the last question
check out this www.wheelreviews.yolasite.com for reviews :)

So, I don't need the tuning kit since the pedals are hard enough without it? Nice.
Thanks for the reply.

You do not need the tuning kit. Tho if you require a stiffer spring the local home.repair place could probably help you out.
The hard mount screws were not included in either of my 2 wheels.

I would have to say if you drive in shoes I would imagine a stiffer spring set would be needed.

I don't but I find the default to be satisfactory. A bit stronger would be nice bit it feels good as is.

All 3 pedals have a different feel if that's any good to you. The clutch doesnt feel like an accelerator if that's what you wanted to know.

Edit. If any of you owners could answer my question on my thread it would be nice.

Thanks for the replies.
The only "problem" is the actual buying over the internet issue + shipping. I've never bought anything off the internet so I'm always "what if my package gets lost" + I need to hear from Fanatec if they'll ship to my country.

Thanks for the link too!

Fanatec use's UPS standard for shipping and they gave me tracking codes for each box,
You know where your packages are mostly,
Mine went from south Germany to north then west and then into Holland and into UK and got scanned at every step,
So the chances something gets lost is pretty slim.

Fanatec has just replied this morning. They are willing to ship to my country!
Amazing company with great customer support! I'm so happy!!

The GT3 RS V2 wheel with price tag of 180€ (@ Fanatec's site) does include pedals at all?

Also, the cheapest pedals at the moment are the CSR Elite?

Thank you!

Wheels are without pedals unless explicitly specified on the site/webshop of theirs.

Cheapest pedals are the Porsche pedals for $30.

All Fanatec's products are modular so it doesn't include pedals nor gear shifter.
I advise you not to buy standard pedals (30 euros) but go for CSR Elite or CSP ones instead, or get used Logitech G25/27 pedals.

They do not list them anymore... Are they discontinued or out of stock...?

They also have the CSR (not elite) comin soon, which i think will be a little cheaper (comparing to Elite).

Lol geo if you know they are crap I won't have to look if they are discontinued or not. :p
Just get the CSR elite pedals if you want the cheapest and most decent pedals available right now. The normal CSR are still not available. So ya, not much choose yet but a difference of 50 bucks.

clubsport pedals are the king when it works. my load cell crap out after 3 weeks from first use

don't mean to scare you. I love my Clubsport Pedal, but this has ****ed me to no end. that I have now after purchasing this 3 weeks ago can't use the brake pedal and they are sending me a replacement load cell.

some even told me that it will repeat it self as the load cell will again do this after usage ( I practice maximum 4 hours a day. everyday) srsly Fanatec. I wish I have gone T500 way.
