Hello Fellow Bay Area West Coast GTPlanet members...
After reading the thread about the UK lan party put on by Famine, I'm wanting to see if there's any one located here in the Silicon Valley (Mt. View, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto) and surrounding cities (SF, SSF, RWC, Burlingame, etc., etc.) who would be willing to get a LAN event setup?
I know blackbird stated in the above mentioned thread that he'd be interested and in searching on previous LAN threads, I know there's at least 5 or 6 others who had at one time indicated they'd be interested. (Kouki_AE86; dking; Quick_Nick and I6-4-eva to name just a few)
I'd be interested in helping organize the event, if needed...plus offering the use of an extra DFP that I have...w/pedals of course!
However, I would not be able to help in the actual LAN config as that is something I've not tackled as of yet and wouldn't want to be responsible for screwing something up!
So, are there any takers? I'd like to show our fellow UK members that us 'west coasters' can have just as much fun as everyone else!
