Hello Everyone!,
I am glad to say that i have opened up a new clan called the Los Santos Multi Crew (link will be below) its basically a clan were we do everything. Cruises to Role playing, Mountain Climbing to Underwater Adventures. Pilot lesson to Taxi Driving. In this clan we will have jobs for the class you are in the crew, when you get promotions you can get new jobs and such, but were currently going to try this job thing out to see how it goes. but im hoping to get a lot of returning people and new people. @ZDUPH is also a returning member. I hope to see a lot of people and were hopefully going start up by Friday, May 17th 2014

GTA 5 Los Santos Multi Crew Rules


1. No Colored Tire Smoke ( No Exceptions)

2. Must be at least 16 years of age or older

3. You must pass the crew’s initiation test to even join

4. The Initiation test consists of the following

a. Driving Test

b. Shooting Test

c. Taste in Cars, Colors, etc.

d. How mature you are

5. You need to be able to buy cars if needed. Cars are not supplied. ( If you don’t have any money to get a car for the weeks activity then you better find a way to get money or talk to one of us, if not able to get a car by the meet, You will be asked to leave and won’t be able to rejoin.)( for that meet)

6. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

7. No messing around

8. If you come into the room you either participate or leave.

9. No unfitting wheels ( For example no high end wheels on a Z-Type)

10. No Obnoxious Paintjobs

11. We need Variety. Post on the forums page what car you will be driving (maximum of the same vehicle) (EX: No more than two dilettantes per meet)

12. Keep Mic Air ways clear No chit chat

I see no issues with these rules Darkfighter.

  1. Tire smoke is bordering Ricer.
  2. It is a 18 rated game.
  3. Well we you need to see if people will cause problems.
  4. a/b See number 3.
  5. Important for any events which are held.
  6. Stops people causing trouble making the crew nicer to be around.
  7. Well this explains it's self.
  8. Why take the place of someone who wants to join.
  9. Again refer to Ricer comment.
  10. See above, (Realism).
  11. Makes sense, you don't want a room full of adders.
  12. If there is too much Chatter becomes hard to follow instructions, and is just annoying.

2. I have met and know under 16's who are smarter and more sensible than a lot of adults I've encountered.

3. What is this, some sort of street gang?

4a. Driving skills come more naturally to some, others will always struggle.

b. Free aim or auto. Also see comment regarding point 4a.

c. See comment to rule 1.

d. Mature according to who? One persons mature is another's childish. I refer you to the comment on rule 2.

5. This rule is bordering on threatening and discriminating. Money shouldn't be an issue, alienating people is.

6. Ok, first decent rule.

7. Define 'messing around'. How stiff should you're members be?

8. So, if a crate appears and someone goes to get it, are they then not taking part? Time to kick?

9. See comment on rule 1.

10. See above. Who's judging?

11. Fair enough but still, who cares?

12. If you have a member that follows all your other rules to the letter, they probably won't have much to say anyway or, you'll all think the same things at the same time like clones.

Rules are made to be broken, too many rules = more chances of them being broken.

GTA's about having fun, not having to abide by club rules that are stricter than Prison.
 
The point of Grand Theft Auto is to do crazy stuff with you and your friends in and around the Los Santos area. Why would anyone want to follow these dull and dreary rules?
 
How do you even test 'Taste in cars, Colors, etc.'? Taste is literally a completely subjective concept so presumably this means 'if you don't have the same taste in modifications as me then you can't join'.
 
Sorry, but I feel the need to cover rule 6.

Surely your snide judgements and sneers towards other people's taste or grasp on what's "cool" or not is something that falls under the 'anything nice to say' bracket.

You guys try to run these shows with military precision under a list of draconian rules that we're all supposed to adhere to and god help anyone who doesn't.

WithIn the VAG scene, if someone rolls into a show and you don't like something about their car, you kept it to yourself. It makes them happy and that's all that matters.

Fun is the key word, why not themed cannonball runs where anything but killing and ramming goes?

Ok well if you guys don't like it why are you commenting. The point of these rules are so that everyone can have "fun" without other people coming in and killing them and blowing up their cars for no reason this is a clan to have fun. there are rules so what. its only going to be for a lil over an hour meets. if people cant behave than they don't belong simple as that. so don't come in here and come against me cause you don't like the rules when your not even joining! this clan is realistic, not a childs playground. so please if you have a problem PM me or ignore this thread
 
Alright enough is enough. If you haven't got anything nice to say regarding the thread, kindly leave. Nobody is forcing you to join, and nobody is forcing you to comment in this thread.
This cavalier behavior is the reason why we closed down Los Santos Car Shows.

Because unlike the majority of people on GTPlanet, there are people who want to enjoy cruising around the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County in nice cars while enjoying themselves, rather than constantly doing silly gate glitches and other immature things. There are no official rules that state that everyone has to do unrealistic, silly things like landing planes on other planes and launching themselves thousands of feet into the air by means of poor programming. This thread was catered to folks who were looking for a similar experience to ours. This thread was not intended for offending anyone.

It's rather elitist sounding is the fact.

How come you can decide what someone's taste in cars is, or what colors work and what doesn't, and kick someone out just cause you think differently than them? And the fact that people can't just talk during a meet, and everyone has to have a different car.

A lot of us are up for cruises and shows, but not when it's run under a dictatorship.
 
It's all about striking a balance that meets the needs of the majority otherwise there will be just 3 of you cruising round in a mature fashion.

Furthermore, is this not an open forum where I can air my opinions freely? I'm all for cruising and having been on a few in a real life situation, I can tell you for a fact that a few rules are bent or broken. The main rule that isn't broken (having fun) remains throughout.
 
I'm not saying people cant have whatever color they want i'm saying that i don't want to look at a bright pink prius with yellow tire smoke, and if you all want to talk go for it, but i'm saying that everyone talking at once like pelicans is not what we want to hear. I am all for open ideas but keep in mind these rules are not set in stone they could change. Why don't you all give it a chance, I'm sure you will have fun and if you don't come see me and we can talk. And if you still don't then your welcome to leave. all i am saying is give it a chance..

I have an orange Prius with high end rims and red tire smoke for the heck of it. Simply because you don't like it means I can't join? You should allow your members to have the freedom to do what they want, even if they want one of those horrible chrome Veyrons with dollar sign rims.
 
you know it upsets me by the fact that everyone who comments has negative things to say. funny thing is i know how to run a clan i ran 3 on gta 4 and basically ran LS Car Shows. i know what people like. if you guys cant be realistic for an hour then i honestly don't know what to say. there are free for all's at the end of every meet so you can talk all you want and drive your colorful cars around all you want.

The vast majority of people in this thread beg to differ.

The general consensus is that the rules of the crew are far too strict to be enjoyable for most people, and no amount of 'I think the rules are reasonable though' is going to change any opinions. You've stated time and time again that this is meant to be a 'fun' clan but at the same time you want it to be realistic in a game where the fun generally stems from a lack of realism (except in a few niche cases). These aren't 'mean comments', this is all constructive criticism; we WANT a dedicated car show clan but what we don't want is for it to have so many rules that the crew ends up like this:

I think I should jump in as a former member of LSCS .. It may seem like a lot of rules but a majority of them uphold the sort of behavior that people look for when joining these crews. If you are annoyed that someone started beating up your car or getting the police involved then having everyone in passive mode or promptly removed is the obvious solution. And let's be real here... I really don't want to see a pink and green car with dollar wheels next to my more "realistic" creation. So I appreciate the banning of such abominations in our meets. Furthermore no one is telling you how to treat your cars ..only that if you happen to like the gaudy style or dislike strict policies then this is not for you.
