This seems to only happen in shuffle races online, which is what I race the majority of the time.
After a few races, sometimes just 1 or 2, sometimes 10 or 12, sometimes never.....but usually I eventually lose all tire squeal sound. The tires make ZERO noise, no matter how bad out of shape the car is. The car handles the same, and all other noise is there, but tire noise is completely gone.
It happened today after I did a race in the rain at High Speed Ring. Obviously there's not any noise from the tires in the rain, but the next race at Deep Forest, I had no tire noise again.
I used search feature, but couldn't find anything. I've talked to people in lobbies online, and they've had the same problem. No one seems to have a solution other than just restarting your PS3.....that seems kind of ridiculous. Anyone else run into this? Anyone know an in game solution, preferably one that doesn't require you to leave the lobby?
