Just wondering, how many of you stay up into the morning playing Prologue, knowing that you'll be groggy at work or school in the morning? I've been up organizing races in the chat until 2:30 with other GTPers, and I'm curious to know who else can't will themselves to stop playing.

Who's pulled an all-nighter?

Who's gotten scolded by their spouse for not coming to bed?

Who's been late for work or school because they played too late?

+1 to the person with the worst case of GT5:P Addiction. ;) Let's hear the crazy stories.

And yes, I did start this thread at 1:25 AM. I guess I have my own addiction to worry about.

Yes, I have definitely stayed up all night playing GT5:P. Especially around the time when it first came out. I'm not in school now though so I haven't really had that problem. I'm in a really bad sleeping pattern right now because of not having school though, lol. I stay up until about 5 in the morning and then wake up at about 3 in the afternoon and sometimes even later. A lot of the time when I'm up I am browsing these forums, so it's not really a GT5:P addiction but close to it I guess. Funny thing about me waking up at 3 or 4 is I go to work about 1 hour later. I get home at night and do the same thing all over again.

Went 14hrs straight the first full day i got it..... bought 8pm the night before (Thursday 24th April), up at 3am the following morning (wife works shift, and it was a public holiday here in Australia), played through until 5pm....... had dinner, then put another 6 hrs in then went to bed.

I was quite ill on the saturday, it was like i was badly hungover...... so ill i couldn't bear to hop in the seat and play all day that particular saturday....

I often stay up to 01:00 when I don't have work next day. I used to stay up to 03:00 on my old job.

Hmm it's now 3:27 AM and I've just now stopped.

I've got to stop this behavior. Waking up past noon is never a good idea .

3:40 am, again. Wife is asleep time to sneek into bed:)Hope she dosen't wake up:nervous:

when i first came online, i played 31 hours straight, was on my holidays at the time, at home with nothing else to do..

oh and did i manage to get any tunes set up in that time, 1 yes 1 and i've even discarded that one now

Another time the girlfriend wanted to go out for a drink, i said i could not as i was driving later that evening, she responded by questioning me as to where i was going as i'd failed to notify her about an evenings excursion, to which i replied...No, i'm going on GT and racing

I've just got GTP addiction issues.

9:38 AM and I have yet to sleep. Then again... I slept until 6pm yesterday...

yea i always get yelled at by my parents for playing GT5P for more than like 3 hours :ouch:....it sucks so much. Wished i lived by myself

I look at it this way, it's only a game and it will be there tomorrow. The only games I've ever really gotten addicted to were Sim City, Diablo II and Oblivion. GT5:P didn't offer enough to keep me that entertained where I would get to the point of becoming addicted. I think the longest I played it at one time was an hour.

some nights when i feel like it i stay up.The latest ive stayed up till is 4:00am but then went on to play cod4 aswell and pulled an alnighter. But many times ive been caught by my parents.

First i'd like to say "I am addicted to racing". I've stayed up till 4am playing online GT5P, most of my best ever races have been at those times. On those days I have been less productive at work the following morning, but nothing a can of Redbull couldn't solve.:D

It's not just the game that's addicting, it's more the racing and competition. I've been at street racing events that have had me coming home at 7am in the morning.

I look at it this way... I rather be racing long into the night in the safety and comfort of my house, than doing it on the street(you know how dangerous that can be:nervous:)

what car do you drive?

i've had a few late ones, and yes i agree the best racing does normally happen in the early hours in the morning. when you get into a good crowd you can go on forever. recently i havent been playing late.

Last night there were a couple of us racing into the wee hours. I went to bed just before 4 AM, but I have no idea how long the others kept going.

I'm with vanos - it's racing in general that is so intriguing. The worst it's ever been was when I stayed up until 2 AM watching rain delay coverage of an Indycar race at Motegi. So boring, but the thought that they could start kept me watching.

My sleep pattern is messed up thanks to GT5P, i end up racing till 3am or 4am.
