Loss of Car Views

I loaded GT7 on PS4 and all worked fine, then I went to see if I could change car settings while in Musical Rallys. When I returned the only cockpit view is the bumper camera and it will not switch. Went to display settings and View settings are grayed out. Any suggestions to get cockpit view back?

Music Rally has an individual style.
It should be "back to before settings" again when you select any other racing event outside of Music Rally.

Thanks, but I'm currently working on my licenses and the bumper view is all I have. And the Display settings for View is grayed out.

By any chance are you using a VGT that doesn't have an interior view at all?

Buttons do nothing

Not using vgt. Currently I’m in the license phase and I use the car they assign.

Are you using a regular controller or a wheel setup? You can definitely change views (while driving). I think you’re just looking at the cockpit view settings option which only adjusts the driver’s position in the car when using cockpit view. Go to the upper left GT icon on screen ( not while driving) but before you start the mission/race. Click on it, go to controller settings and check out what button is for the change view option. On a normal ps4 controller the default button is R1 if I’m not mistaken. Hope this helps 🍻

Okay, but if it's not assigned to change the view it won't... that's why this was the actual recommendation:

Click on it, go to controller settings and check out what button is for the change view option.

Try pressing the square button. I think it may be the default setting.

That was the issue, somehow the R1 got reassigned. It is working now, thank you all for your assistance.
