Lost all funds?

Hey guys, i found stuff related to funds through search, but nothing like what i'm posting here. If you guys have info, please point me in the right direction.

Basically my problem at this moment is, i raced for about 3 hours in Online Expert and "raised" about 350,000 credits... left the game, watched tv, had diner... came back for some late laps (at expert still) but surprised... all my funds are gone?! i distinctively remember seeing the game save many time during that time, but apparently it didn't ?

Anyone else's seen this before?
 
The game only saves when you return to the main menu. So unless you quit from there, or went back a couple of times in between, it didn't save anything. :(

Oh wow, i did not know that, im use to quitting the game from the online lobby without heading back to the main menu. prob thrown away so much money and didnt even know :(

Cheers for that info will make sure in the future.
 
Yes, Autosave is (unfortunately) apparently not that automatic.
 
even when it autosaves after returning to the main menu,several times it didn't save my progression in the funds....
what i allways do before turning off the game-just to be 100% sure-is save it manually using the save option in main menu ....

Wow guys, I actually never knew this and have all the cars and around 800k. I too wonder how much money I threw away instead of investing in another F1 car.

yeah,i only noticed when saving up for the f12007 and got up in the mornig thinking i only needed 10.000 or so ,just to discover all 250.000 hard earned credits where gone......:ouch:
