Lost my car registration papers.

As above. I lost my German car papers of my BMW. So I need the help of our German members. Is there a way to get new papers for the car when I only have the chassisnumber? I have no licenseplates, no name of the previous owner. Nothing. Just the car and its chassisnumber.

I hate myself so bad right now, I have the car for 9 years now, and I've always been very careful with the papers, and now I finally have the money the get the car finished, I cannot find the papers anymore. Probably because of moving into my new house.
 
No worries, you can (usually) get new papers. I guess BMW would've to issue them and would probably need the previous registration or so. I can call their German phone number tomorrow, if you want (not sure if they're offering such a service for such problems in the Netherlands) me to. :)
 
If you could, that would be great. I haven't slept in 3 days now, I completely tore up my house, and I really need some good news like this! Thanks man!
