Great game! The demo was much better than I thought it was going to be.
 
Haven't had a chance to play the demo yet, because E3 is affecting the bandwith on the market place server.

Yeah, I'm surprisingly liking the game.

The graphics are just stunning. The gameplay is pretty good too. 👍

I can't wait to see what the final product will be like.
 
I expeced nothing since that is not my favorite genre, but style, grafics and gameplay are really nice... should be a great game.
 
It plays quite well, the graphics are nice no slow frame rates. But there are some odd bugs in game, and some bad AI at times.

This game is VERY impressive. Takes a little bit to get used to the control, with the looking and movement completely unattached. But, once you get the hang, its very slick. The visuals are great too. Should be a very sweet play whenever it actually arrives.

I liked the demo a lot. Dood to have two levels to play. The boss on the insect level was fun. Running around in a mech with a rocket launcher and minigun!
Reminds me of Monster Hunter. The animation of the playable character, the way he holds the big guns.
Does indeed look good. Only complaint is the character runs a little slow and could do with better dodge moves and there was a little tearing when I played it at 720p, but not massive. But quite impressed. Definately a months rental or even a purchase.
Trust Capcom to do something good!
 
I am absolutely loving this demo. It looks great, and the gameplay is awesome. I prefer the insect level to the snow pirate level, although both are fun. It'll be a must buy for me when it comes out, especially if it has Xbox Live cooperative play. I'm really looking forward to this one.

I agree. It was only good the first time around. I hate the fact that your life is constantly at risk. You really cant explore or take your time. This is at most a rental for me. 👎👎
 
Its just that "something new feeling" After watching the video I was left asking myself "Ok whats new here". I get the same feeling with "Resistence"

But this was a demo and I saw on G4 that it wasn't coming out till 07.
 
I'm not sure how I feel about this game. I downloaded the multiplayer demo last night, and it definitely took some getting used to after playing Gears for a few days.

After I changed the aiming reticle to "fixed", the controls felt a lot more natural. The game itself has a lot of cool ideas - the grappling hook, mechs, huge explosions, etc. I'm not too used to the combat though, and I wish the aiming was a bit easier. Gonna give it another shot later, see if I can get any better.
 
I think the aiming will just take experience so I wasnt bugging at all. The multiplayer was a lot of fun after playing with my friends and all, but only when the room was packed :lol:

I might get the game, only if i have the money..

You can change the way the aiming works in the options. There are 4 types if i remember correctly.
 
I need to download and check out the multiplayer for this game. The demo I tried was just a couple levels of the single player and I was happy with it. If I remember I will check out this multiplayer demo over the weekend if its still available. This is the next game I am pretty excited about. Some of the trailers of the actual game play look very impressive.
 
Well my opinion of this game has changed. I downloaded the multiplayer last night and played for a couple hours. I dont think this is a game I will be buying. I have also heard reviews from people that own the game that it can be beat within 6 hours. (Japan already has this game) It doesnt have co-op at all so I just cant see myself buying this game. The online is ok but it really wasnt anything that kept my attention. The controls are very strange to get used to. To zoom in for sniping you have to hit up on the D pad. Reload is clicking the analog in. I am sure these could all be changed but like I said I feel this will only be a rental. I am glad they released the single player and multiplayer demos to help confirm my decision to rent instead of buy.

However I did enjoy the multiplayer in this game more than GOW. But when it comes to the single player I doubt there is any way this game will be better than GOW without having co-op.

If you go check different forums you will see that many have already beat this game. Most beat it within 6-7 hours but I guess the single player is pretty good just short. No co-op. There are 2 demos on the marketplace. A single player demo and multiplayer demo. I will be renting it.
 
Heather is going to rent it right now. They only have 1 copy and I guess its still in. lol I will have her rent it for 5 days so maybe we can play a few games together.
