Lost trades in PSN downage

Wondering if anyone else lost anything, I am missing 7 tickets and 3 cars I had been sent in trades but hadn't received into the ticket collection.

Was pretty peeved but of the 2 I did get I scored a GT Citroen Race Car and the 2D race car.
 
Yup, I was told I was sent a car, but after turning on GT5 , I have nothing at all :'(.

About 15 tickets I intended to trade and barter :indiff:
Oh well easy come easy go I'll just have to get to work huh :scared:
 
I always said you were ultimately better off just doing 1 trade at a time, rather than booking weeks in advance.

You said you were sent the tickets, meaning they arrived in your community folder, correct? If it was there before PSN went down they should still be there unless you reloaded your game save then that would make them disappear. If they never made it to the collection then they either were never sent or PSN went down at the time of the transaction. Only thing left to do is contact the individual(s) and have them resend. As I'm pretty sure they backed up before sending.

About your question, I have everything I sent, still have all my B-Spec guys loaded with cash on two separate accounts, things are good :).
 
Well I don't know but if the psn was down who the heck would send stuff out? Think about all the information that would to go back and forth if 1,000,000 did a trade. You would think a few wouldn't make it just because of the size of all of them, and the complexity of starting the sytem back up.

They were cars sent out before the PSN went down, obviously...

Well I know they were sent because I sent them from a separate account, but I never went receive all on my main account thus why I think they were lost from PSN...
 
Okay. I didn't understand. I guess it is no different then backing up your save. If the cars and tickets were important to you than you should have received them. Just like the people who were a level 40 a & b and lost everything because of overwriting their save file or not backing up and getting a YLOD.

No bad feelings but I accidently did that and lost the car I just traded so that was my fault.

Oh i see, then the next question would be if you have multiple back up of different save files as you can on back up one GT5 file per external drive, so you will need multiple thumb drives. Very weird thing that PD possibly intentionally left in as you can copy your main file to the other accounts on the system but you can't play them from anything other than your main account. Dumb if you ask me, but who knows why people think in such a way. Like me I use my main account for getting cars and shipping them to my back up account for safe keeping should they be cars that I can't get with 0 mileage. Anything under 1 Million is safe, still hate that 1 Million cap makes trying to protect my investment a hard if not impossible thing to do.
 
Me too, I lost 1 car. It was sent before the outage & when I check it last night, it's not there.
 
As I said on the positive I was trying to build up 30 level 21 tickets so I could get the GT Citroen Race Car but one of the three tickets went through gave me it albeit the grey edition which in my opinion is the worst but a 4,500,000 car for nothing isn't bad, wonder if I can paint it...
 
OH GOD

I sent my friend a gold chrome gt-r prototype like 2 days after it started back up. I'm wondering if it got through because he hasnt been on in a while.
