Lost - Via Domus
The game based on the TV series and has been developed by Ubisoft.
Xbox 360 Release - Feb 29 2008
PC Release - Feb 29 2008
PS3 Release - Mar 1 2008
Via Domus means "find the way home" in Latin.
In the game you play as another unknown survivor of the plane crash and you cannot remember anything about your past, your story intertwines with the rest of the shows cast and covers whole Lost story stretching from seasons 1-3.
Its a mixture of a puzzle, mystery, shooter game set in a jungle and is basically going to be a lot like the elements seen in the show. Uncharted - Drakes Fortune and Tomb Raider are games which comes to mind in the same genre.
Most TV / Movie game spin offs often seriosuly suck and are done purely to capitalize on hype and interest of the thing to which they are linked. This one has really stood out for me because it looks as though it could actually turn out to be a good game, especially if your a fan of Lost.
The game has been in development for a long time now and has mostly been under the radar, now Ubisoft have broken cover only about a month before its release. I really hope they get the games mechanics right, the grpahics do look really impressive... it is unsure whether this game is using the unreal engine or not.
The great character models, voice overs from the cast and story line cleverly written into the past 3 years of Lost should prove really interesting.
