Thought i would go back and try to gold the last two Senna challenges. Somehow i got silver a while back but now at Monza, i can't even compete a lap hardly. It seems you can't really accelerate unless the car is in a straight line. TC is at 3. Thought i would gradually step it down. Ugh. Difficult car to drive.

If something is difficult in GT6 then its the 125 shifter kart race at gt arena. The Senna thing is easy compared to that.

Well it took me 10 min to get gold on cones, but over 1h to be 1st in the gt arena race!!

Why they are stupid? I don't understand your point. There's nothing wrong with the Karts. :rolleyes:
 
I can't drive the 97T with TC turned on.
It just refuses to turn and won't accelerate
you've just got to be smooth with it
 
The 97T is kind of a "hang on for dear life" job. As I've said many times before, the karts are just about the easiest races in the game.
 
Back to it. Improved to within a tenth of a second of the gold time. :/ I've got TC on 3 still. It seems gold is possible with the TC on. I've read where the aides slow us down... as for the others, SRF andASM. Do they slow us down?

All aids technically slow you down because they restrict natural driving skill. I say try it with all ids off except for ABS.
 
I had real hard time with the 97t and the carts. But after practicing the cart turning technique (which is a bit odd compared to normal driving) I got the golds.

I've yet to master the Lotus, but I'm not giving up... just gaining some more skills before trying that event again.
 
Well on the Senna events theSRF and ASM are turned off already. I find it strange that I'm within a tenth of a second, 1:25.174 of gold with TC all the way to 3. I guess I've learned how to drive it that way. All other cars i leave it at one. I think the karts are similar to this F1 car.

It really is, the car's got enough downforce that the tires sustain roll-out and you don't lock up so easily. No ABS, no TCS...just fun:

Had no probs in Monza as I gold-ed it within a couple of attempts. But that 80's Brands Hatch????? Now that was a nightmare. Took me an hour of practice in time trial just get a time below 1 min 7 sec. Really hard with dualshock 3. Left TCS at 1.
 
For those who don't know , you can modify the Lotus 97t in GT Auto with spoilers and new vents , try it guys.
 
The car has a horrible turbo lag.

TCS turned on will made it even worse.
 
GT needs F1
I just don't get what you mean, to me it's easy to drive. I love that kart it's bloody fast.
