Lotus elise motorsport elise '99 bugged ?

I purchased this car yesterday and i tuned it, I did the nearly all the power options then got it to around 300 bhp. The next day i turn on the game and there a no power parts on the car at all, I did not get my credits back either, the only parts still left on the car were the suspension parts and transmission. I tired putting parts on it again but still the same outcome, can anyone help ?
 
Did you quit the game before leaving the tuning shop?
 
i left the tuning shop, then quit the game.
 
This has happened to me and a friend of mine. I bought a Bentley Le Mans, put a mid and high turbo kit on it, came back to it the next day and there were no turbo upgrades on the car.

A friend had a Race Modified Golf IV, he tuned the engine, next day the engine was stock.

We've checked our items lists and the parts we installed we're not in there.

Confused..??

Not sure if it's bugged or not as it hasn't happened to my elise, did you quit the game before it had a chance to auto-save?
 
ill try upgrading it and ill be really carefull this time but if it happens again idont know what to do. I think i have a different elise to you aswell jack_ers69
 
....try saving after purchasing the upgrades.

Nah pretty sure mines the same as yours, motorsport elise bought from the UCD right? Costs just under 100k.

I didn't do anything different to all the other cars I've tuned, I always logoff rather than just switching my PS3 off, I go back to main menu then exit game and switch off PS3.

All the other tuning parts seem to have stayed on my other cars, got no idea why this happened..

I didn't save game, I never do, never have done, it's not soemthing that's happened before, I thought it was a 'one off' then my friend had the same problem.

It's weird..??
 
Put all the same stuff on mine. Hasn't happened to me. It is a sweet car though, my Bob destroyed the other elises in the british lightweight races.
 
Make sure you buy AND install the parts. Then save a couple of times using the red "O" icon on the main menu to the left.
 
Yes, happened to me twice on the Kusabi. Never happened after tuning premium cars but I now use the save icon on the home page after tuning standard cars.
 
Dodge Challenger R/T '70 happened to me all other parts are there except the tranny !

yeah i got it for just under 100k in the UCD, ill check it tommorow and see if the upgrades are still on it. It is a good car tho just mine spins out all the time

I have only noticed this happening to my lotus, none of my other cars have been effected. So i think your ok with your cars mods.
 
When you leave the tune section i dont think it autosaves .. So maybe for most missing parts this can be the fault , but if you manually save then it is not there then "hey by heck chuck, start a revolution" There does seem to be a glitch on the tune front, maybe if you do 1 part at a time then save it may not loose parts ?
 
I have manually saved it and it worked all the parts are still on the lotus now. thnx for everyones help :)
