Lounge tyre grip glitch

I was racing in my friends lounge and my car with its set up (the set up provides amazing traction) had no traction at all. This was a major issue so i created my own lounge and the traction was back and high. This makes me wonder since the regulations, setup and car were exactly the same. Could it be that him being from USA causes a glitch which changes the grip? Can you people help me find out wether I was just overconfident in the car or if there is a real problem
 
It was probably just lag or a connection issue.
 
Possibly down to SRF settings? His being off and yours by default being on? (Only a thought)
It also automatically defaults to off if you run a kart race, then followed by a normal one, so check your settings when you get back into the regular cars again! >:0)
 
Until reading your post I thought it was my driving ability that this was happening. I too have had the same problem happen to me. We where racing with 1 other usa friend and my tyres lacked grip to the amount that I was 20sec a lap down every lap. After making another room the problem went away but this has been happen to others and I don't beleive it is a lag issue, as we have been racing the same guys for 6 months. Don't know but it does happen.
 
because i know that I have read about some guys doing a large organsied race (touring cas i believe) and some guys were much slower despeit being on the pace in practice. Then when they pitted on guy had so little grip he thought he was on a lower compund, pitted again and wasnt
 
I've noticed that it depends on where you set your cars up in the first place.
I set one up the other day in my private lounge and then took it to an open lobby and the setup was back to standard.
But if I set it up in my garage before going online the setup stays in both private and open lounges.
