Lounge tyre problems

I have a problem with my tyres in a lounge in that they never heat up. They stay dark blue. In a open lobby tyres work normal. I had this problem from very beginning of GT5 so i never participated in a lounge. However the other week i decided I'll try it again and it worked. Unfortunatly it's back to the problem again.

Can anyone shed any light?

Noticed this too yesterday, don't know why. It seems that GT5 is using 3 different physics engines for the cars depending on where you are driving them... very confusing.

It is very strange. It must be a bug as I've asked around and it seems they don't have the problem. In an open lobby my tyres work normally but when i create a lounge they never heat up (stay dark blue) so I'm loosen approximately 1 sec per lap

What setting are you using in your lounge for damage?

I think it's light but this shouldn't have an affect tyres!

So if you do a burn out do they go red?

Yes when i do a burnout or deliberately power slide they go red. When i drive normally they never heat up but they do wear out.
