Thanks to GTC I got 10million credits and bronzes for all licences I didn't have yet (S and Rally). So I bought a RUF CTR2 and tuned it up to 850hp. I then entered Like the Wind on professional and obliterated everyone. It would have been closer, but the silly GT-One pitted two laps in a row (I have no idea why - silly AI?)

Anyway, I won a Mazda 787B and it is the business! Been winning many races in Amateur and it was especially pleasing to go back to beginner GT World Championship and destroy all the opposition that gave me such a hard time when all I had to race with was a Lancer.

I look forward to many more races with this awesome machine. It handles great and has lightning acceleration, especially when it hits 3rd gear.

well, do you have anyother decent cars? because have u tried the GT-ONE race car, Escudo pikes peak and the RUF RGT, i got my RUF RGT up to around 1040hp, and it can destroy any other competition on the Test course, so does my Dodge and especially the Escudo, but try pullin a wheelie in a GT-ONE WHOA! i have probably gone over 1000MPH, infact 1066mph to be exact, i know though that 787B was the pride of my car collecetion until i got a GT-40 a favorite because it rocks!!!!

Yeah, i know escudo is a freakin race car, ya did NOT HAVE TO BE AGRESSIVE ABOUT IT!
But maybe i was talkin about ANY car not just stock cars, and escudos are good for rallying too ya know that.

The 787B is the first Race Car that I won playing GT3. All the other cars I won were street models from Amateur and Beginner mode. It was nice to have, and enabled me to break into some of the more medium-difficult races and get some real money.

I'm still tooling around with mine to get the right settings though. After driving an F1 the 787B just doesn't seem like its living up to its potential.

the 787b is the coolest Le Mans car in the game.
sure, it's not as fast as the GT-ONEs, but it's way more fun to drive, and much easier to tune.
looks awesome, too.

Dolbytone if you wanna make money, win the Escudo, goto Endurance Races i, the one on Sppedway. Just tie off the controller and it wins everytime, i forgot the prize credits but its a lot, and you get cars worth money, plus the f1 eventually, and we all know we love the F1. But do this when yu go to the movies or something, come back with mega money!

Thanks Drake but I'm already at 100% and chock full of cars and money. Periodically I will 'rubber band' on the "Prize Car" save when funds run low from purchasing cars from my main GT3 save. I'm collecting a garage of cars you can't buy and storing them at 0 miles for future use in online events.

On that save now is about 12 F1 vehicles. I have all the types, just not all the colors yet.

The 787B looks mean and rotaries kick ass but I havent driven it yet, reason: no GT3, no PS2 !!!! but Im getting one in a few weeks.

Your :mazda: 7B7B ain't never going to be an F1 car.. :shakehead

But it's still one of the best Supercars?

Hasn't one of the new :mazda: Cars :car:/Concepts got a Rotary engine?

Mind isn't the 7B7B a suberb drive :burnout: for it's age?...:clock:

According to a certain tips magazine, the 787B is the machine of choice for the majority of the endurance races. I intend to find out whether this is the case :)

Hold on, try the GT-40 that is SOMETHING ELSE, what a drive, i have been using it in most races, i like it especially coz of that wonderful noise it makes.
And its a classic, a car built in 1965 out of pure spite to beat ferrari, and heck they did it well.

Okay, the car ain't that fast in the game due to the fact that we have all exceeded 450kph (and the GT-40 does not becasue of the simple reson that back in 1965 a 5.0 V8 was a huge engine and it would get the car to an earth shattering 170mph) at least in the game which is around 255mph, yeah, fast, well it is in REALITY, and all it would need is a few upgrades.
but i still like the 787B nice car ver fast, nice handling, i owe that car one, it got me an F1 car.
But without the escudo i would not have got the 787b, and without the Dodge viper GTS i would not have got the escudo and without the TVR speed 6, and so on and so forth, i have noticed a chain of cars.

And may someone be kind enough to explain what the rotary is, first i will make a random guess.
An engine that is wound up so much that it charges up the engine causing it to move for long periods of time.
