Hi there,

i'm having a problem concerning the Lupo GTI Cup Car.

I'm organizing a NO TUNE championship with this car and some of the participants have their car completely stock, rhims included, and still they can't get into the track with the no tune option activated in the online lobby.

Any ideas why this happens?

All the help is appreciated.

Cheers,

N.

In A-spec the No tuning race means no livery on the car (logo/stickers/etc).

Does others manage to join with the Lupo GTI Cup Car?? Or does nobody?

That's the thing... most of the participants can but some can't. And some of the one's that can't are regular participants in no tune events so they're used to setting the car properly (changing sheets etc...) to be able to get into the track...

Make sure everything is set to default if it's a part on the car that is adjustable.

With the car completely stock the only option available to set to default are the shocks... nothing else except the weight and aero...

Aren't the ones that can actually get in using the normal Volkswagen Lupo GTI '01 and not the Cup Car version?

Brake balance and power limiter are the only settings that aren't stopped by prohibited tuning.

Chassis reinforcement also stops a car from getting into a tuning prohibited event.

Yes that and also engine fiddling and weight reduction. that's why i find it so strange... these gyus are more than used to events like this..

I was thinking like Outeke,
Theres 2 Lupo Cup cars.

-Volkswagen Lupo GTI Cup Car (J) '03
-Volkswagen Lupo Cup Car '00

But you're saying you guys are used to races.
Only guess would be some are using OCD cars and other Prize cars.

The cars don't make any difference since there's no way to restrict it to a single model of car unless it's in the recommended list.

IIRC, fitting aftermarket wheels may alter the final drive ratio of your car, making it "modified". Try putting the stock rims back on.

Forgot about this. Another way to do it is buy another transmission and switch back to the stock version.

Thanks a lot everyone and if someone got any more ideas fell free to share them.

GTPorsche.... you the man! Although mine could always get in i changed the wheels, and after i did what you said and it worked like a charm... got in to the track with different wheels and all hahahaa.

Thanks a bunch

Sorry I am late to the party. Let me clarify a few facts:

Even with tuning prohibited, ALL stock race cars can enter as long as they are set properly. Livery is irrelevant.

Second, you can adjust brake bias even in a tuning prohibited room, but that is the ONLY thing.

Now to my observations: it appears there is a glitch with setting up racecars to get in these lobbies. Some people can join easilly, some have trouble. The following steps will allow the cars to enter. I have a 100% success rate with this procdss, but it must be done in order (as rediculous as it sounds).

Step 1: Switch to settting sheet b or c
Step 2: Confirm there is no engine mods or chassis reinforcement installed.
Step 3: Go to each and every setting screen and click "set to default". Don't skip any screens, and make sure you click reset even if it doesn't appear to do anything.

I am convinced this will work. If it isn't working, they are trying to take shortcuts. Must follow step by step.
