I have a bit of a problem. I have senior prom coming up next year in April. While some would be content with something like a limo, I am bent on somehow getting a luxury, sports, or exotic car to drive. Being responsible with other people's and my own property is very high on my priority list. I will be 18 at that time. I know this is basically a shot in the dark, but I'm just exhausting my options. If anyone has a luxury, sports, or exotic car they would be willing to rent me for $500-$1000 for 2-3 days in the Minnesota or Wisconsin area, it would truly be a blessing.

Thank You,
Jerry

Have you already tried a local exotic car rental company? If that doesn't pan out, you can always try a regular rental company. The GT-Hs are all booked through, but Hertz will do a Mustang convertible, which certainly ain't too shabby. I also know Enterprise and Avis has Caddy DTSs in their fleet. Some company is doing Hummer H3s.. might be Avis, but I'm not sure.

You probably won't want to go through the restrictive process of renting a GT-H anyway...basically, they kill you if you scratch it.

Ever thought of asking parents to see if they know anyone with a nice car?

A mate of mine turned up in a Ferrari 360 Spyder that was owned my his dad's work colleague. It was just him and the driver through.

You won't get very far if you're planning to drive it yourself. I don't know of any rental companies that allow rentals to under 25 year olds. In fact, it usually goes up for higher class vehicles. Limo rental companies will send out a driver too, but I have no idea about pricing.

Plenty of rental companies for under 25's. Usually its under 21's that have difficulties. However even 18 year olds can get a rental car, but they will just have to pay alot more for the privilege.

Good point, I didn't even think about that. It's been that long...
