Is the 04 M3 a solid drift car that can hang with the pros or is the newer premium m3 better?
Use a 135i It's the best IMO
For tandems I think the 135i(Comfort hard) is best It can keep up with big Boys ,Spirit R, M3, even LFA and vettes. I'm drifting it since a year and still loving it. Don't Know how you tune ,but everybody got a other Style![]()
How I tune? I add a LOT OF TORQUE!!! lol jk i'll try to make some similar tweaks from my 04 to it and see where it goes.
What you need to do is find a base tune for your style and apply to your cars. Followed by minor tweaking to match what each car tells you. Always listen too what your car tells you. 👍
All E46 M3's in the game are legit. Prob my favorite cars in the game. With the right tune, they can keep up with most "fast" drift cars. The regular 04 M3 might feel pretty underpowered though (compared to the csl and gtr), but it's all in the transmission tune and balance of the car.
Can't find a CSL or GTR, do you have any up for trade?
Yeah I got both. Which one do you want? Add me, my psn is fcpmarcus.
I won't be able to send you one until saturday because I have to send cars to other people
Haha nah its cool, I got all the cars I want/need.
Eddy: that's a really bad idea. It will slow the car, its actions and its power response! Put a hard front (around 10-12kg) and soft rear (around 4-6kg) and it should glide nice and smooth with some toe and damper tweaking.
Klevrah: cars vary a huge amount! You cant take a tune from a corvette and stick it on an m5. It all depends on the dimensions of the car, its weight, its power, its suspension, its geometry, and overall chassis. I tune each car individually from my special base tune that (more or less) eliminates understeer. And it depends on the track and surface aswell.

It is pretty hard to procure a base to blend into all of the cars and what tracks you drift in though...

As I said, its a case tune. I change everything once I get the feeling of what's needed.

to tell you the truth I dont give a rats behind about all that technical aspects of tuning, I do have a base tune that goes into all my rides depending on drivetrain and build it from there, please note I did say "base" tune as in a foundation to begin tuning right? I can tune for points, tandem and touge off my base tune and have gotten far better than I was at it.
