Geilenkirchen tuning specialist Manhart Racing has updated its MH5 S-Biturbo program for the current BMW M5.
According to German Car Scene, power upgrades are available in three stages with the first consisting of an ECU software remap, which sees output from the 4.4-litre biturbo V8 rise from 418 kW (560 hp) and 680 Nm to 472 kW (633 hp) and 780 Nm. The next two levels, which release 500 kW (670 hp) and 559 kW (750 hp) respectively, include a carbon fibre air intake, uprated turbochargers, downpipes and a new exhaust system with sports catalytic converters. Sensibly, there’s also a KW coilover suspension kit and choice of Mov’it brake systems right up to a 380 x 32 mm carbon ceramic option.
Other components in the package include a ventilated carbon fibre hood, front spoiler, boot lid spoiler and diffuser, and a range of alloy wheels in a 21-inch diameter.
