M5 Premium vs M5 Standard Sound Comparison

I compared the sound of the two M5 cars in GT5, surprisingly there is no huge difference between the two.. the premium sound is a little bit better, but just only a little bit.

I really hope PD can re-do the M5's lovely V10 sound, but i don't think that's gonna happen, even he claimed that he would generate the sounds again(only for the new GT6 cars i think..)

Just hear the real M5..

One of my favorite cars since GT4, and also one of my dream cars. Honestly I haven't noticed any difference. They share the same sample pretty much. The sound is good enough for the M5's V10 and I have no complaints about it.

It's weird, but I prefer how it sounded in GT4, but if it would have GT5's grunt added.

As for the sound, PD did a decent job in this car. My only complaint would be the weird modeling that the Premium version has. I remember that the M5 had a glitch in the tachometer and the front brake calipers were in the wrong position. After a few updates they fixed this, but it was still not one of the best modeled cars in the game. The standard, even with it's low resolution, it looked wider and the tires look better positioned. Overall it had a better stance than the Premium one.
 
Yes, the premium one always seemed too tall in my opinion.
I've seen the E60 M5 irl a bunch of times and it looks much more... planted than the P version.
The sound on the other hand is pretty much spot on, which is great since E60 has one of the best engine sounds of all cars (better beeing only Carrera GT and LFA imo).

"Suprisingly there is no huge difference" Why would that be surprising? Although graphically they're quite different because PD. But I cannot see a reason for the same if not very similar engines to sound different?

Anyways although you've made this on GT5 you should check GT6 if there is any difference if you can. 👍 I doubt there will be any difference but if there is a slight difference between the Premium and Standard (not that I can tell) maybe there will be?
