May help understand what happens when you recieve 600mm in 6hrs haha. Was taken as soon as we could get out of the house. Stuff in the 1st few shots are at its peak, the others arnt quite as things had to subside a bit before we could get about. I have another Part coming soon with the Main street.

For the record our house was fine and yes that is Harvey Norman you see, my workplace haha.
 
Ouch man, my neighbourhood in QLD didn't get any flooding- but I live on a hill :dopey:
 
Where's the wave runners when you need them! I'd be blasting through the streets! :lol:

So is this a result of a monsoon season or something? If that's the case I'd hope car and home insurers include flood damage in the package.
 
its an extreme monsoon system that hit us. Worst in History apparently so its definetly not a usual thing. Many of those places went under have never been under before.
 
Dion maybe you should move somewhere that isn't underwater 150 days a year? Or rename MacKay Atlantis.

And its not this bad, before this we had barely any rain for ages and ages... Funny that it still raining.. 2 days later and apparently more heavy rain to come. Its not flooded anymore but low lieing areas still under and creeks are still swollen. If we get some heavy stuff which is apparently whats coming.. could flood all over again.. woo
 
the way he wrote it was MacKay, its McKie so to speak...

Not looking forward to the clean up at work tommorow :(
