Mad Katz 2 Steering wheel

Has anyone here ever tried the Mad Katz 2 steering wheel? I use Logitech Driving Force Wheel now, but was wondering if the Mad Katz wheel was any better (as far as gear changing and full power braking was concerned.)

I don't know, but when I first bought my PS2, Sony dual-shock controllers were impossible to find. I bought a MadCatz DS contoller, and it stunk. I traded it in several times before I got a refund.

It wouldn't play nice with the Sony controller. When they were both plugged in, the PS2 would only see the left controller, whichever one it was.

Is that a force-feedback wheel?

I had an old Mad Catz wheel with my PSX which I'd done a little work on to firm up steering and pedal feel. It was fine - I had a problem with it, and I took it down to the local distributors who cleaned it up and fixed it for free, even though it was nearly three years old!
