Working on my build for awhile now and have my cockpit almost done. This is just a small update of hooking up the handbrake to a DS3 controller instead of G27 like everyone else. Was quite easy when I found which points to solder and tested it all out. Works amazing :D

I had some help from neema_t with what electrical points and all that stuff.

Thanks, your amazing!

These are just some pics I took right when I finished, sorry for my mess, was excited to do this :D

Oh please, you're embarrassing me! I'm glad I could help out, no point knowing how to do these things if you don't share the knowledge, you know?

Andosillano, I'm pretty sure I read that using a Playstation connector to USB converter to play GT5 with a PS2 controller doesn't work, it'll work the menus fine but you can't actually control the game with the controller. You could, however, use any controller that does work with GT5, such as a cheap but functional third-party pad. I use a DS3 for mine because I had one spare that I'd previously cracked then re-homed in a Sixaxis case which wasn't ideal because the vibration motors moved around too much, but there's no reason to use a genuine Sony controller, other than for the fact that they're well documented and you know for sure they'll work.

Yeah, I used an old spare sixaxis, well, one that I took apart awhile ago to change the analog sticks due to wear and never finished.

If the vibration is a problem, do what I did and just cut them off.

This works amazing, going to add a spring soon to me it feel more realistic.
