Anyone else noticed the section of track behind the hairpin at the top of th hill in madrid (end of the pit straight)? I keep noticing kerbs behind the tyre wall and on some of the replays you can see stands with fans on way into the background! Sorry for not havin any pics but i dont have a camera!! Check it out, possible future DLC???:)

Just a question, don't take that personally, but you do know there's a Madrid and a Madrid/Mini in the game?

EDIT: By the way, the game has a build-in camera. ;)

No offence taken, just out of interest though, the same pit straight/hairpin features on both of these tracks right????? And i know the game has a built in camera, surprisingly, i have used it once or twice WHEN PLAYING!:sly:

The Madrid short circuit actually skips the first corner complex on the full-length version. It dips in around to the left for a much smoother first turn.

Ok, nevermind, i shall remain misunderstood! :)

I suggest to change the thread title in "Possible track secrets" or something similar.
Personally I think there is more than meets the eye on other tracks too.
For example the bridge just before the last corner to the main straight on SSR5, or the blocked road in the tunnel leading to "Route 7".
Or the fact that Grand Valley Speedway seems to have got enough floodlights all over the track for a night version of it.

Regarding Madrid, however, I haven't noticed anything behind hairpins, at least on the normal version (not the short one).

I think I get what you mean: that there's grandstands visible in the distance beyond the outside of the first corner? And that because of it, Polyphony could be planning a longer version of the circuit in future, something like this?

I wouldn't say it was entirely out of the realm of possibility, though it's more likely that they planned several routes through the city and then picked the one that worked best and didn't remove all of the content from the other circuits. There were allegedly plans for a longer version of the London circuit, one that included pits, but it never eventuated.

I agree, i always think polyphony have probably modelled half of madrid to make this circuit anyways so its always a possibility they could do alternate routes or something, and i have seen some other little glimpses of this on other circuits too.

You need pictures, because you appear not to able to tell the difference between the mini and full circuits

yeah, i think he's just mistaken the two as i have walked around the full course in photo mode and can't find any out of area grandstands.

Grand Valley Speedway at night would be pretty awesome.

I think what he's getting at is that you could use that camera to take a picture of what you're talking about and post it here so we can see.

As i stated, i dont have the ability to post pictures, and i can assure you i know the difference between the two circuits, im not foolish enough to post on here without actually having played the game. If you dont believe me add me on psn and check out my licences. Otherwise can we keep the condescension to a minimum?

Edit for last post: Cant do that, im at work!!

Yea, you would think that they could of made all the tracks that they invented themselves weather/time change.

Groundworks the eventual flagship Mark 6! Gt6 could be earth shattering, if it makes it out before PS4.

Any original GT tracks have night racing? Seriosuly, they should have done that for ALL. Especially weather..

Yeah, it really could, i think they said they wouldnt put weather on all circuits because for instance it never rains at laguna seca, but thats surely wrong, ok, maybe it doesnt rain alot at laguna seca, but once in every hundred times going round the corkscew wet would be fantastic. i heard some suggestions ps4 could be 2013/2014, in which case id bet gt6 could be put off until then.

More "track secrets" that I can recall:
- Licence test IC1 shows a wet version of the Top Gear Test Track at a time of the day apparently different than usual. Yet, we can only select sunny conditions
- The visible oval section at Monza seem to have more detail than what is usually seen on secondary track scenery. Possible hint to a future usage of it?
- The misterious SSR7 scenery concealed by anti-noise panels that are all over the track. In my opinion the track has not been completed yet (it's clear especially when running it in reverse), and when it will, the panels will be dropped on most of it.

No, there currently are no night racing tracks, except for Special Stage 5 and 7. What's weird for those track is that the selectable versions have the "Night" suffix. I think that might hint the possible inclusion of other tracks in night time only (not changing time). I'm thinking of Tokyo R246, or Rome (Rome Night!), for example. All city tracks could potentially have night racing.
Suzuka, Tsukuba, Daytona and Laguna Seca also are supposed to have night time racing, since there are in real life. These are not original tracks, though.

Great Post, thats the spirit!!👍

Night racing would be awesome. And where's midfield raceway, that was my second favorite track

Just before Gt5 released Official Playstation magazine stated that time could be set to the real world locations meaning if it was night time at Laguna then it would be night time on the track. This has yet to surface
