What are your favorite magazines and do you subscribe?

Lately, I've been reading a lot of Business 2.0 and Consumer Reports. Both are quality mags, and they're both more realistic than a lot of other similar magazines. Most of the stuff in both is more life-applicable.

So? Care to Share?

Game Informer is the only mag I read. I'm subscribed to PSM, but I don't own any Sony products anymore so I normally throw them away once I get them.

I've been ordering Automobile Magazine for the past several years. Otherwise, I just started subscription Time, Newsweek, Businessweek and another one that I don't remember (I got these magazine subscriptions free becuase I have unused Delta miles). My dad orders Consumer Reports, so I would sometimes read those too.

I do like to go to the library and check out computer magazines and other car magazines though.

I read F1Racing on occasion. I’ll have to get a subscription to that, one day.

I've got PSM, OXM, Popular Mechanics, Road & Track, Automobile, Car and Driver, and Motor Trend. I've cancelled my DuPont Registry subscriptions and just buy ones that interest me.

I might by the odd MOTOR mag, but no subscription for me.

My fav is MOTOR.

Did any of you read SPEED apart from me when it was still around? It's like the only magazine ever I regularly read.

Why read magazines when you have the internet?
Does the internet contain everything a magazine has? I'd like you to prove it does, because I can't!

I read a few car magazines, like evo, Autocar and occationally Test Drive and What Car? I was subscribed with evo and Autocar, but they come damaged through the post and is quite a hassle to stop the subscription when we don't want it anymore - in our experience. I don't mind paying a bit more in shops, but it would be nice if the post was a little more careful.

Yep. For the most part, but mostly they cover stuff I already know.

I don't have one third the magazines I use to subscribe to. The internet is to blame.

I still get PSM (not for long), OPM (mostly for the demo disc) and Sound & Vision.

All hunting, shooting, car, guitar, musician, science and other magazines have been canceled.

F1 Racing, the Australian edition! That magazine rules! Don't subscribe, just make sure to buy it every month! Am patiently waiting for the August issue to arrive! I think Nico might be on the cover of this mag. Bought my very first issue in 2001 and have been getting them ever since!

I don't know about everyone else but I hate reading long reviews on a computer screen. When it's in a nice glossy magazine, I can sit on my sofa and read it in comfort.

I get National Geographic and Car & Driver.

It's one of the few magazines that's still interesting for me to read when the copies of them are 10+ years old.

My dad buys the german mag Offroad every month.
I only read the articles of the jeeps i like, because reading in german takes longer for me than reading in dutch or english :)

Most of the info in there is new to me and the tests tell you alot of the cars offroad capabilities.

Some info they offer can't even be found on the internet.

I had OPM and Game Informer, but I let the subscriptions run out. I'm beginning to feel gaming magazines are pointless. I also occasionaly buy Guitar World or Metal Edge.

I don't subscribe to any magazine, but do purchase evo, only when there are interesting cars. ;)

So that will be every month then :) .

Subscribed to Evo, Autocar and Racecar Engineering.

Will buy just about anything else that looks interesting.

We get :
  • National Geographic
  • Smithsonian
  • Mental Floss
  • Grassroots Motorsports
  • Game Informer
  • Rolling Stone
Mental Floss is a great magazine. Rolling Stone is a worthless rag, but it appeared for free after we bought some concert tickets.

I used to get a lot of free magazine subscriptions, but don't get those offers anymore for some reason(they probably realized that they weren't making any money :D), so I just realized that I don't have a single subscription.

I used to get: GQ, Car & Driver, Road & Track, EGM, Playstation Magazine, Nintendo Power(this was so bad), Budget Living, National Geographic Travel, Men's Health. That's about it, off the top of my head. I also used to buy Beckett Basketball, Slam and some magazine I think that was called "Sport Compact".

No subscribtions at the moment, but I usually buy "Fast Bikes" and "Performance Bikes" - Both in the British version..

I'd love to subscribe to Top Gear Mag, but that is just too damn expensive here in DK...

Yes, I used to get OPM and EGM for free. Haven't gotten any free offers since. And OPM is like $30 to renew. I don't think it's woth it though.

I regularly read Time, Transworld Snowboarding and COLORS. I also pick up the odd Evo (it's expensive over here though) and sometimes some graphic design or art-oriented magazines, like Juxtapose or Blazing.

Iv'e wanted to read Difting magazine fore some time but I haven't heard squat and their website hadn't been updated in a while the last time I checked. Besides that There aren't many magazines out there that I know of and actually interest me.
