The Mahindra Komodo 4×4 is the handiwork of Indian designer and IED Torino graduate, Makrand Patil. Patil has designed this rugged SUV taking into perspective the demands from buyers in India and Indian road conditions. He has come up with this massive off-roader that is built for the young adventurer, sports enthusiast or the staid family guy.

Mahindra Komodo is both rugged and well-appointed. Photos of Komodo have been displayed by Patil who worked in collaboration with Mahindra while at IED.

Mahindra Komodo SUV with its exclusive concept and intricate design entailed four long months of hard work wherein Patil, being an Indian himself understood the difficulties of the Indian user and Indian road conditions and ensured that the Komodo catered to these demands. He has drawn inspiration from the authentic Mahindra DNA which is seen on board existing models such as the Scorpio and XUV500 while the most challenging part to get the right blend of design between a luxury SUV and a rugged off-roader.

.........Looks like a render - and uhm, interestingly shaped one. Ohh, who am I tryin' to fool - it's hideous. Argh my eyes etc etc....
