The online service of Gran Turismo 5 will undergo maintenance during the following hours:

Start: 1/16/2012 22:00 EST
Finish: 1/16/2012 23:00 EST

During the maintenance, you will not be able to connect to any of the online services.

*Please note that the exact time of the maintenance may slightly vary.

Time for more toys! Also can't wait to see the hidden features from the update!
 
Beat me to it by 2 minutes. I believe this is the pre-Tuesday maintenance before the DLC is released on the 16th.

Lol, just noticed.

Likely getting things ready for the update as well. I'm looking forward to everything, especially the small things they don't tell us.

Since GT1, playing Gran Turismo is like searching for treasure, you'll never know what you'll find. A year on, and I still see things for the first time that stop me and make me say "oh, hey, look at that!".

Notices like this are especially important for those that Remote Race frequently, like me.
 
Shouldn't affect remote races if you are online already. For the most part PD doesn't throw you off of the network if you are already on to begin with before that time.

It's the little things in life.
 
Everyone, backup a backup of your save game data before the update! I smell something awry with all these new themes coming. Not that it will matter, for I will love them no matter what.
