Last Night I was on SS5 Dry Super stage 5 in hard arcade mode.... :car::gcar:

I took pole the first Lap :chkflag:, checked my mirrors and looked behind me with R1..:sonar: the Sky was pure Black

Even though it's night time when you look forward the sky is a cloudy :rain: Grey.. right? But behind you it's pure black :weird:.. what the 🤬

Has anyone else noticed this? It could just be my Game :cd: as it was bought on the Release day and the glitch may have been ironed out for later :USA: Copies :earth:

i've noticed that one aswell.. also there is mild pop up on R11 reverse the big wall to your right as you come up the long left hander on to the finish straight

i don't think that's a "glitch," Gran Turismo games have always had less-detailed rearview mirrors. and, since SS5 is dark, they made the sky black.

j2s is right, the rearview generally has less detail to keep the game's framerate from dropping... on Tokyo R246 the sky is kinda cloudy but bright when looking forward, but in the rearview it looks like a thunderstorm is about to roll in. Draw-out (objects disappearing as they go out of view) is pretty noticable on trackside too.

It isn't a glitch, it's just a way to keep the PS2's processor from getting bogged down from too many objects onscreen at once.

i hope to see a glitch like when you go on the test track it turns into a runway then your car will get wings like a plane! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Who cares about that, if you do check out the rear view on tokyo infornt of you its sunny and rear view shows cloudy??

I think we need to call the FBI!

Ah, don't worry. It's just Fu Manchu testing out his new weather machine. He's going to take over the world, you know. :D

Well yeah that is quite a glitch..:p try it on the Daylight tracks ;)

Try the Test Course.
