Major Glitching after 2/26 Seasonals Posting?

Let me preface by saying that I'm stoked that we've finally got some new seasonals to deal with, but um....

Anybody else finding a weird glitch in the Red Bull Standard races? I just loaded the Silverstone event for a little grinding, and it only loaded 7 cars, and they were all AI. Tried to launch the race and was informed that "The race information is invalid."

Now I have the little spinning wheel/loading icon going bananas and nothing's happening... LOL... Three steps forward, one gigantic one back... Ah well...

LOL. Uh oh... It seems to be doing it on all of them...

Seriously, I can't be the only one having these issues. I can't seem to put my cars in ANY races anywhere. The race will load, but it's only AI cars entered, my entry is nowhere to be seen.

I can't race in anything now... WTF!?

I didn't have any problems doing any of the new seasonals. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing what you are.
 
Try reloading the game. This glitch where the game has trouble loading your car has happened to me and others before.

I've had that before. Just reboot your system.

I was starting the Silverstone event and, 1/2 way through the first lap, the screen went blank then came back on and I was awarded a gold ?? Now, if only the Kart series would do that :-)
 
Some three weeks ago, my game started going crazy while i was doing the Mitsubishi snow-TT. Rebooted; happened Again! I tried everything, including the stupidity of eventually erasing all gamedata! I ended up calling the service-hotline and they suggested that my PS3 (some 3 and a half year old, 320gb), having served in a smokers home, is having problems reading this challenging disc and that i essentially oughta' get a new one.

So two weeks ago i bought a 500gb top-loader and started all over (while also finding time for improving my snow-TT time to a best ever finish at P56 :D) But yesterday when i wanted to do the final 5-race championship of international B, it went bananas -eventually again leaving me no other option, than to power-off and reboot. I entered other races with no problems, but then as soon as i tried to enter that championship, it was in trouble and eventually gave up.

The conclusion i've drawn so far is that this game is such a challenge for PS3 Thus causing these Things. The best advice i got from reading a Little on this forum, was to race offline: I had no problems doing that championship offline.

Comments and suggestions are welcome. I sure ain't happy, having erased all, bought a new PS3 and i'm STILL not out of trouble. What happens when the game freezes in a TT; can't do them offline...

a new bluray lens for $15-20 would have probably done the job...
