Major GT4 force feedback Bug

I cant believe im writing this, I searched and found nothing

I own 2 Logitech driving force pros.
I own all versions of gt4 including

GT3
Gt Concept tokyo2001
Gt " " Japan Spec
Gtconcept 2002 Geneva
Gt4 prologue
GT4 Bmw 1 series virtual test.
And GT4 japan spec

I have spotted a major issue with the dfp Wheel in Gt4 .
similar to a bug which occured in the Japan spec GT4 Prologue.

In GT4 Japanese spec green level license tests, when I drive up on a curb, {force feedback 2 instruction in the code}, in at least the first several tests, the pedal indicators, accel and brake go full on then none then reset.

The Japanese version of gt4prologue did this and PolyphonyD replaced all asian copies{very expensive error}

Has someone else experienced these issues
I searched and hoped its not my machine, it happens with both my logitech DFpro wheels

Ps im in Australia and yes all my disks are original and it doesnt happen in arcade mode thankfully just green level license tests. so far

I have experienced somthing like this but not in any GT games.

I was playing a mod for F1 Challenge named DTM Mod 2002 and when I was re-assigning the controls, for some weird reason the throttle and the brake indicators were on full untill I applied some force.

They reset and then they were fine, apart from this I have not had any problems regarding the pedals.

I've got a minor problem with my steering rack and the force feedback though...
The force feedback is getting reasonably weaker... (even if I put it on 100%)
 
It seems like it would be some sort of penalty feature. Maybe they don't want you driving on the curbs. If you find it happening in any races, though......
 
Both wheels and both sets of pedals?

One thing I noticed about the DFP is that the connector for the pedals isn't secured in any way... you just plug it in. It's a serial connector, with space for screws, but no screws.

Is it possible that the force feedback is shaking the controller just enough to temporarily shake or loosen the connection to the pedals? How well is the wheel secured to (whatever)? Does it move a lot, or at all, when the force feedback kicks in?

I don't have GT4 myself, but I'm sure someone with a DFP and GT4 can come along in a bit to add another angle to it.
 
Green level is which liscense? I have only completed my B and A liscenses and have had no problems with DFP so far. Oh yeah Japanese version GT4 that came with racing pack (different cover).
 
Jedi2016: As I see on my DFP thet connector couldn't be that easily disconnecetd by vibrations. I don't think so. But as you use it more and more, you just make it loose and eventually one day could disconect by itself. If that happens I think sime duct tape on either side of the cable would fix that in a heartbeat ;)
 
Could there be some kind of interferance or static coming of the Ps2 and effecting the pedals from the laser or somthing, as the ps2 sits within a foot of my pedals. no closer though.
 
Green liscenses is the B liscense which I went through with no problems at all. Have played about 20 hours now with not a single problem.

Although I have rewired the socket and put it back in, it had stopped and now its back not as bad.
For example now when i sit on the line and Rev the engine and red line it a few times before take of the brake indicator starts going all funny and sticks on full brake then errors out and restarts

It sound like you have the beginnings of the DFP pedal problem.
Where the wires and connectors are pulling off the pots to the pedals, because the slack in the cabling is not long enough.

When it happened to me it started intermitantly and at different times, sometimes the brakes would stay on or flick on and off intermittantly, or the car wouldnt full accelerate, then other times it would be fine.

It is quite simple to fix and there are many threads on here, with info on how to fix this.
