Making Gif Animation- NEED HELP!!!

I don't know how to make an animation. I have Photoshop and ImageReady, but how do i use these programs to make a cool animation with different pics?
Any help is very much appreciated. Sorry If you guys have answered this before, if you have, link me to that forum and i will be happy. THanks :)
 
First, you have to make the images you want (if you are designing the images yourself) then you have to go into Image Ready and you select all the images that you want to animate.
 
Ok, i got that down. How do I get each slide down into the animation bar? Whenever I do it , they all just bunch together? Thanks for helping Integra Type R!! :)
 
in image ready, you'll have all the animations in different layers... You have to hit the "new keyframe" key to make another frame to the animation.

Every time you make a new frame, just make the layer that should go there the only visible layer.

Is Imageready a free program, and if so where can I get it?
