hey everybody!I was just wonderin'..is there a steering wheel that I can get that will be compatable with GT3 that has a stick shift with it? (I saw the Logitech Steering Wheel by the way,but all it had was the steering wheel and the pedals =P) and if you do know of one,or you have one, then could you please tell me where you bought it from?it would be much apperciative fellow GTPlanet citizens :D !

i had a wheel similiar to that one with a stick, but all it does it move it down-upshift;move it up-downshift.

Jubula is correct. The shifting mechanism on the Mad Catz 2 is simply shift up or shift down. The steering wheel itself isn't bad. I used it for about 2 weeks, before I found it uncomfortable.

It doesn't have a clmaping mechasims, but rather suction cups. Not 100% reliable in the way that clamps will hold it onto the table.

With the issues that the Logiteech wheel has, I'd say you wouldn't be upset with the Mad Catz wheel.

Here is a "real manual" shifter that works with most PC racers. And I have confirmation that it works with a Logitech Momo.

I don't know if it works with PS2 though, but since it is USB it is possible.

Considering that a LOT of steering wheels work, that we were told that wouldn't.

I use a logitech driving force wheel and programmed the L1 and R1 keys to do the manual shifting, that way you use your thumbs, and it works perfectly, also it helps out with the braking issues since you get better braking with the compression from downshifting. Isn't there a new Logitech wheel with a shifting stick? I saw one at thier news website but can't remember if it was for PC's or the PS2.

well,so far,I've found a MC2 Mad Catz racing wheel!you can check out the one I'm talkin' about in the thread called "Steering Wheel" and look at my post, then you can see which one it is.I'm just posting in the "Steering Wheel" thread for some info about the MC2,see if it's good or not ya know. But anyways, this'll be the first steering wheel I've ever raced with before,so from what HalfRaceDrift was saying in there,it sounds like it's hella fun,but challenging to get the hang of =D!well, talk to you guys later, gotta go to school =P!Ja-ne

Hello...

I'm think, every shop that repair radios an TV's, can to add plug-in connectors into Your Wheel , (or PlayStation One Controller) for a low buget , to add a seqential Stick Shifter !
( Thats 15-20min. worktime )

If You have the old Logitech GT-Force Wheel, ( Witout a controll-crux in the handle ) You can add a Gear-Shifter paralel to the Wheel, via a modified "PlayStation one" Controller-Pad too.
But a paralel conected controller, dont will work in all games ! (In GT3 , this work good.)

And a seqential Stick-Shifter is only a flexible mounted lever , that's to activate two or thee Push-Buttons.
You can rebuild a Joystick, to a Shifter , or a industrial Switch ... :D

That's a nice Industrial five-funktions Switch !!! ( But I'm use only thee funktions )

This was my first Try to add a Shifter on a GT-Force Wheel.

Frex has build a nice add on sequential shifter with E-Brake to use with :
Logitech GT-Force Wheel
Wingman Formula Force GP ( This is a PC Version, but is compatible with GT3 )
Microsoft Sidewider FFBW

If You like, On my Homepage You can see a H-Shifter, that work with PlayStation 2 .

So long
