The Legend section holds the most desirable cars and for good reason. All the screenshots/car lists have the legend section cars mostly without price just like you couldn't buy certain cars in GT3 or GT2. My question is are these lists inaccurate/incomplete or can some cars just not be bought. The example I cite is the 205 T16, famines car list has it as a Legend section car with no price but from the prize list I see you can only win the 205 t16 rc (206 race) and 205 t16 evo2 (special condition hall) So how would one get a 205 t16 car or is it there for show?
 
The car cannot be bought. The only way to get that type of car to show is to win it.
 
ok i no ima get flamed for this but i havent really paid atention to buying tons of cars in gt2 and gt3 but r u able to win every car that cant be bought or r some impossible and r just there to tease us

No, you cannot win every single car in the game, some you'll have to buy. Some cars you'll have to win, but there are no "inaccessible" cars.. you can either buy or win every car in the game.
 
If you can't buy it from the main dealer section and you can't win it, then it should appear in one of the used car lots at some point.

Hi Rogs,

205 T 16, R 5 Turbo and Lancia Delta integrale can be bought in the used dealer slots, as can the infamous Silvia RS 240.
All you need is patience, and of course, the apropriate amount of credits.;)

excellent, thank you flinx and live4speed. I saw a pic of the 205 used. hopefully the car databases are helpful
