Like my other thread, this thread is dedicated to good looking/appealing to the eyes, automobiles from the past and present.

I will make a poll later on, including every Manufacturer as it will be a general vote given to ONE manufacturer ONLY.

You can state specific models, but the vote is generally as a whole car company.

Pictures are welcome.

I will start:

I know the first thing that pops into my head is ALFA ROMEO! ALFA ROMEO!! but I'm going to ignore it as the 1980s-1990s Alfas didn't appeal to me.

For me it has to be Lamborghini.
I feel that every single one of their cars is beautiful and unique.
They show power, sex appeal and the more recent ones show agression/fear too.
Every single decade had produced amazing looking cars that nearly everyone, at least once, has dreamed of driving/owning.
Maybe it's just me but I feel that people seem to agree too so this car company gets my vote.

I've always like the GT-Rs, the front of them looked amazing, but the rears were meh for me, but the R35 has a really nice one so it's balanced it out!

Come on! The manufacturer of the best looking cars? Can it really be anything other than Maserati?

GranTurismo
Quattroporte
GranCabrio
Merak

Need I go on?

EDIT: Lotus?! They don't make a single, visually attractive car.

Ever heard of personal taste? And they may not now, but at some points they did.

For me, Jaguar. The E-Type and C-X16...

Name one Lotus that had any sort of visual quality. Also, the CX-16 is attractive, or it will be until they start branding it as the 'new E-type', at which point i will blatantly disregard it as yet another foolish attempt at trying to ressurect the past.:yuck:

EDIT: By 'visual quality' i mean pretty, not cool, before you start naming the multiple different esprits that they made.

I'll stop now, sorry for taking the thread off course.

Elan? Elan 2+2?

It's probably worth noting at this point that you apparently have some pathological dislike of British cars for some reason anyway and whatever anyone provides you with as evidence you're mistaken you'll continue to declare them ugly anyway, so I'm not expecting much from the two above.

And anyway, I don't know what's wrong with the Mk1 Esprit.

Cleanly designed, well proportioned and has essentially lent its shape to a whole generation of supercars.

I Don't hate British cars; i LOATHE them!. I Suppose you could class the elan as 'nice', although it's all down to , as you rightly said, personal taste.

As for the Esprit, it just isn't pretty enough. Sure it's stylish and quite 'cool', but not pretty.

Might be obvious but I still have to say Alfa Romeo, it's a perfect blend of exotics, oddball experimentation and sensible daily cars.

I'll give Alfa an advantage over Lambo simply because they don't exclusively built supercars, it's not hard to make a good looking supercar, there's much less compromise, but what Alfa does is make normal sedans and hatchbacks so good, and furthermore Lambo has too much special editions for each platform the older models goes out of fashion very very fast.

Lada, so good they never changed one bit of design (/funny off)

If I take into account every car made : Ferrari, Lambo or Aston.

Lotus's Elite and Europa beg to differ.

Lotus for me. Okay, they've made some fairly average cars along the way, but who hasn't. There's just something about the Exige that gets the blood pumping.
