Map tweaks ??

Hi all

Had a look and couldnt see any info on this anywhere.
I went online onto Le Sarthe the other day and noticed the map had been altered.Things like some of the corners that you could cut before had grass on them not tarmac and their was a hut/building type thing near to the start of the long straight.

I presume it was something to do with the update but havnt seen the map like this since?? any body any clues ??

no flamming please if this has been discussed or if im being daft and missing something obvious ;)
 
This is only a shot in the dark as I have never raced there but did you pick 2005 instead of 2009?
 
im not sure as it was hosted online by someone else...is ther 2 types then ??
 
Yes, one has sand where one has tarmac in places, I think there are 4 types then then the change weather options.

Yeah the 2009 is very different. All the gravel and grass were replaced by Tarmac, so it's easier to cut corners on 2009.

There is the 2005 version (GT4 import) which is the grass one you speak of and the 2009 which has increased Tarmac areas. Both of these also have a no chicane version which means the Mulsanne straight is uninterrupted.
 
aah right ok..i will check it out laters then..cheers for the info

i thought the other one looked better than the 2009
