In 1984, Bill Hill decided to blend a selection of March parts and a Mazda 12A Rotary engine to create the Marzda marque. Only one chassis was ever made, number 722-38, which competed at just three events in its very short racing career - Sears Point and Riverside in 1984, and St. Louis in 1985. The car competed in the U2L class and achieved a best result of 8th overall at Riverside from 16th on the grid.

The car is best known for its memorable appearance, featuring all-enclosed boxy front bodywork. This gave rise to the name "Banana Crate".

Okay, this is going to be painful.

From what you say, both Marzda and Banana Crate are nicknames and this car has neither an actual make nor an actual model designation. That being the case, it fits with the [[Chassis] [Engine]] format better.

Your description tells me that this is a March 722 chassis and a Mazda engine. You say the series is Can-Am and the level is U2L. The car number is clearly #73 and the driver Bill Hill and the year is 1984. I think it'd be okay to nail the nicknames in too after the level and before the number, so it becomes:

March 722 Mazda Can-Am U2L "Marzda Banana Crate" #73 Bill Hill 1984.
