I've been meaning to post this for a couple of months, but you'd be amazed how lazy I am.

Marina And The Diamonds is Marina Lambrini Diamandis, a young Welsh indie-pop artist who's just steadily starting to gain some momentum in the UK. Well one of my friends knew who I was talking about, which is progress here. She typically pumps out exquisitly written lyrics and rhythms that get wedged into your head. One or two of her songs took a while to grow on me, but once they did... wow.

I'm expecting some big things from this lady, an absolute metric ton of potential. Plus, she's majorly hot.

She kind of has a bjork sound, but better.

Definitely better to listen to than those other whores like Shakira, etc.
 
Are you sure she's not better than Catherine Zeta-Jones too? :p


Yeah, I hope she gets more well known - as she actually deserves it, unlike many "artists" nowadays. I stumbled across "Mowgli" last year at some point and thought it was quite well-executed - and began listening to her more in-depth after that.

Got an early press copy of "I Am Not a Robot" last summer, i think it's still the best track she's done so far. Probably get the album at some point. 👍

Yeah, that one is definitely her best song. There is a "Unplugged" version of it on the EP, and it's even better.
 
Giving Hollywood another listen. Great song.
 
Finally got round to getting the album. It's a bit brilliant. 👍
