Alright I think it's time for a proper Mario Kart discussion thread because it's one of the most popular racing game franchises. The latest installment, known as Mario Kart World, has an open world like Forza Horizon and opinions have been mixed to say the least. The thing that's carrying the game right now are the Knockout Tour races, where 4 drivers are eliminated each time a new segment of the route starts. It's soo much fun to play online because it's total chaos and winning does require some element of skill. I've won quite a few times with Bowser in the B-Dasher. Am I the only who's enjoying this game? I've been spending a lot of time in it since launch. I'd like to hear your opinions!

The wife and I are absolutely loving it. Playing it for at least half an hour every night.

The thing that is carrying it for me is the same thing that has carried every MK over the decades for me:

Mindlessly playing with your SO, your sibling or your buddy while chatting about whatever.

I absolutely adore MKW and knowing this is the platform they will be building on for YEARS I can't wait for what's to come.
