Mark Lanegan, lead singer of The Screaming Trees and sole artist, has died at the age of 57. He certainly wasn't as well known as the vast majority of grunge artists to emerge in the '90's, but for me, he had the finest voice and was an amazing songwriter.

... not that long back, and yes you're right about his talents. Dark Mark was a legend. RIP
