Do you think PD will take the time to translate/change the names of the JDM models for other markets? ie: In the US, the Acura Integra, in Japan is the Honda Integra. It seems like such a waste of time. You'd think that GT4 consumers would be sophisticated enough to recognize the JDM models?

the car's specs frequently vary between countries. The name reflects the country to which that vehicle was built.

for example, in GT3, there is a Toyota Alztezza and a Lexus IS300... There is also a Honda NSX, as well an Acura NSX.... same goes for the integra. They have both the JDM & USDM badging, as well as the body work & engine.

True, I didn't think about the specs changing between countries. But In GT3, it seems those differences were so transparent. Just different labels on the same product.
 
for the most part, the differences are very small. On the IS300, there is a power & gearing difference. the Type R I think has a 5HP difference, and the weight is a tiny bit different.

I too would prefer that the vehicles that are in the game that are sold in the US be put it w/ US name and specs, but I think most GT fans have learned quite a bit from the games to know what the cross-ocean equal is. Good thought though.
